CREDIT MAGNATE’S FAQ’S

We offer a variety of credit restoration services. Credit issues can include things like Mortgage Derogatories, Mortgage Correction, Collections, Charge offs, Late Payments, Judgments, Bankruptcies, Tax Liens, Student Loans, Identity Theft and more. We are here to make sure you do not have to suffer the consequences of decisions made in your past. Our team at Credit Magnate works assiduously by using methods such as Metro 2, 609 and factual disputing to remove negative items from your credit report. We do not just stop at sending letters, we get on the phones for you as well too. Our company also offers a wide range of credit building options for you. Our aggressive approach and personalized solutions are geared towards getting you the maximum results possible.
Most of our programs at Credit Magnate have a fixed cost and expected timeframe. There is no incentive to delay your program. Our objective is to get your credit restored in the least amount of time while maintaining the same quality of work in order to get you on your way to achieving your own personal goals.
All payments made goes into the work done to prepare your letters, the calls that are made and the time invested in getting the accounts disputed.
It is misleading to tell a client that he or she will get a specific score improvement. Credit Magnate can tell you the typical score improvements clients receive as a result of enrolling in our program. Typically our clients see a 70-100 point improvement in their credit scores within the first 70 days.
Each situation is unique and will require its own distinct plan. There is not a one size fits all approach to restoring your credit. Hence the reason a consultation is done in order to prepare a personalized plan to restore your credit.
Your initial consultation with a sales representative will give you an idea of how long you should expect to be in one of our programs.
You will need to respond to many requests and be a part throughout the credit restoration process. Your assigned Credit Coach will guide you along the way. Most importantly however, your patience, discipline and consistency is what will be required to help us yield you the best results.
Most of our clients achieve their objectives without the need for an attorney, but occasionally at the end of a program we will use our close and trusted network of attorneys to accomplish a specific client objective in support of a case where a creditor, collection agency or credit bureau has broken the law. We have negotiated exceptional rates for these services when required so that while costing a bit more when needed they are well within the client’s budget and are well worth the expenditure if and when the time comes.
Credit Magnate utilizes the service of My Free Score Now or Smart Credit which are credit monitoring companies who are to provide the scores for all three major credit bureaus. The Vantage scoring model is utilized by these companies.

The FICO score is a proprietary credit score, developed by the Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO). It’s used to predict the likelihood that you’ll repay your debts on time. The higher your FICO score, the more likely it is that you will pay back your loans and other debts in full. The factors that affect a person’s FICO score include:

  •  Payment history – how often you make payments on time;

  •  Amounts owed – how much money you owe;

  • Credit inquiries – how many times someone has checked their own credit report; and

  • Types of credit used (e.g., mortgages vs student loans).
